EPPA's OKNOREC Project: Window Recycling in Poland
The OKNOREC Project is an ambitious initiative by EPPA that aims to unite all stakeholders in the window industry in Poland towards a shared vision: creating a sustainable, closed-loop system for window recycling.
As part of the growing window renovation wave in Poland and across Europe, the project focuses on organizing the entire process of window replacement—from dismantling to recycling—ensuring that materials from old windows are maximized for reuse.
By maximizing the use of recycled materials obtained from dismantled windows, the OKNOREC Project supports both environmental sustainability and the European Green Deal, contributing to a more circular and resource-efficient economy.
This project is a key part of EPPA’s ongoing efforts to lead the way in sustainable building materials and practices across Europe.
