Communication to the market by EPPA

The European PVC Window Profile and related Building Products Association (EPPA) assists its member companies in different areas. One of these areas is the goal to achieve a more sustainable resource utilization within the industry.

In the past, EPPA therefore supported the joint effort among its member companies to implement a reuse scheme for transport pallets for PVC window profiles. EPPA informs to no longer support the implementation of an overarching reuse scheme amongst its member companies and the industry.

This decision includes that EPPA does not and will not recommend or obligate its members to implement such an overarching reuse scheme or support the development of such a scheme in any way.

EPPA’s member companies will decide in full autonomy about their approach regarding the implementation of a reuse scheme.
