Brussels, 18 December 2025 – The European PVC Window Profiles and Related Products
Association (EPPA) is pleased to welcome the European Commission’s Affordable Housing Plan as a clear political signal that housing affordability, energy efficiency and renovation are now central EU priorities.
The Affordable Housing Plan confirms a renovation-first approach, with targeted investment in the worst-performing buildings, a stronger mobilisation of EU and EIB financing instruments, and a clear commitment to simplifying regulatory and permitting frameworks.
