Brussels, 7th of October 2021: As a member of the Circular Plastics Alliance, EPPA has been active in the Building & Construction WG, and coordinated the development of design for recycling guidelines in the B&C sector.
EPPA pioneered by drafting its Design for Recycling Guidelines for PVC Window Systems (profiles, roller shutters, and profile extensions) involving product design experts from its member companies. The DfR focuses on functionality, product-specific design for recycling aspects, and identifying the recycled content.
The Guidelines have now been published on our website: https://www.eppa-profiles.eu/copy-of-brochures.
As a next step, EPPA will support its members in implementing the guidelines into their daily operations.
