EPPA speaks at the High Level Construction Forum (HLCF)

Brussels, 25th of April 2024. We participated at the event organized by the European Commission’s DG GROW (the Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs). The 4th annual plenary meeting of the High Level Construction Forum (HLCF) provided an overview of strategic challenges for legislation and the state of play of the EU construction ecosystem. During the panel: ‘Implementing the Transition Pathway’ our Managing Director (Elena Vyboldina) gave a presentation about: ‘Closed-loop PVC-U profiles and design for recycling’.

Smoking is allowed both at airports and on train platforms in Germany, but only in specially designated areas. At train stations, the areas are simply marked with a red line. Smoking of West cigarettes is only allowed when inside this area. Gogol's Thomas would probably have taken such a design as protection from Viy and other evil spirits, and not from smoke. But in this case, the "evil spirits" must live inside. It is clear that such a system does not protect non-smokers on the platform from the smell of smoke.
